Andrew J. Davis CGR is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Technology. He is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Savannah and is the founder and past chairman of the HBA of Savannah Remoldelor's Council. Mr. Davis is also a State Director for the Home Builders Association of Georgia.

Mr. Davis holds one of the NAHB's highest educational honors for a remodelor, the Certified Graduate Remodelor designation, which emphasizes business acumen as the key to a successful remodeling company. The CGR Board of Governors verify customer and vendor credit references, contractor licensing, insurance requirements, and the remodelors business records for a five year period to verify the contractors competence and credibility.

Since the primary focus of Alvin L. Davis, Inc. Remodelor Division is fire and water damage restoration, Andrew J. Davis, CGR holds membership in several national restoration groups to stay abreast of the latest scientific and technological advances in the industry. The Association of Specialist in Cleaning and Restoration is the world's foremost authority and resource on the restoration of property damage by fire, smoke, and water damage. The National Institute of Fire Restoration offers a variety of educational programs with technical information to enable us to give our clients the best available service and advice.

Mr. Davis also holds a Certified Restoration Technician designation by the National Instituted of Fire Restoration which is "hands on" training in the restoration of valuable contents and structure, in addition to professional cleaning of carpets and upholstery damaged by fire, smoke, wind, or water damage.

He has taken educational examinations provided by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification in the fields of Odor Control, Water Damage and Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration to provide the customers with the highest degree of service in these areas with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.

Andrew J. Davis, CGR has been a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors since 1988 and a member of the Savannah Claims Association since 1991.

In 1995, Mr. Davis was honored by the Southeast Builder & Remodelor Magazine and the Lowe's Company as a double winner in the Annual Chrysalis Awards. He won in the categories of Best Whole House Renovation up to $50,000 and Best Insurance Restoration from $75,000 to $150,000. Chrysalis Awards were presented in 18 separate categories to 32 remodelors for the 11 Southeastern states represented by the magazine.
