- What areas are affected.
- Move contents out of area effected.
- Itemize damaged contents or personal property for claims adjuster.
- Water extraction by submersible or wet dry vacuum units.
- A detailed moisture inspection as well as continued moisture measurements.
- Demolition of some of the structure in order to avoid mold and/or contamination.
- Decontamination process begins.
- Set up the proper drying equipment throughout. (Air movers, dehumidifiers, fans etc).
- Dry time may vary so it is important that a professional oversee this process.
- Additional demolition may be necessary after re-inspections.
