  • The insurance company only wanted to cut drywall 6" above sewage flood water stain line.
  • I discovered water damage throughout the walls and insulation and offered to decontaminate under the framing shoe 2x4 plate.
  • We worked to replace the walls, insulation, seal the structure, decontaminate areas not address by adjuster and treat for mold.

Steps taken after your Sewage flood loss:

  • Identify where the water originated from.
  • Is the source of the flood still a potential back up and for how long has it been since flood receded.
  • What areas are affected.
  • Move contents out of area effected.
  • Itemize damaged contents or personal property for claims adjuster.
  • Water extraction by submersible or wet dry vacuum units.
  • A detailed moisture inspection as well as continued moisture measurements.
  • Demolition of some of the structure in order to avoid mold and/or contamination.
  • Decontamination process begins.
  • Set up the proper drying equipment throughout. (Air movers, dehumidifiers, fans etc).
  • Dry time may vary so it is important that a professional oversee this process.
  • Additional demolition may be necessary after re-inspections.
  • Decontaminating process continues along with restoration
