In 1969, Alvin L. Davis was appointed President of the Savannah Home Builders Association.
The one man home building machine was building homes throughout the Savannah area in neighborhoods like Windsor Forest, GreenBriar, Coffee Bluff, , Wilmington Park, Wood Ridge, Palmetto Cove, River Oaks, Tybee Island, Dutch Island, Skidaway Island, and even Hinesville. The little home based construction and real estate business had spread across four separate counties in the Coastal Empire.
In 2001, he was chosen to aded to the Greater Savannah Home Builders Association’s Hall of Fame.
His name is now branded forever into the history of the Savannah Home Building Industry.
